Our work
At Little Pines Day Nursery, we are dedicated to providing a warm and nurturing environment for children aged 6 months to 4 years. Our highly qualified and experienced team strives to create a homely atmosphere where children can learn, play and grow. We are committed to helping each child reach their full potential and provide a safe and supportive space for them to do so.
At Little Pines Day Nursery we follow the Department for Education's Development Matters Framework for the EYFS (Early Years Foundation Stage). This document breaks down learning into 2 areas, Prime and Specific. The Prime areas are Communication and Language, Personal, Social and Emotional Development and Physical Development. The Specific areas are Literacy, Maths, Understanding of the World and Arts and Design.
"Outdoor Adventures"
Outdoor Adventures are a great way to explore nature and challenge oneself physically and mentally.
"Creative Crafts"
Creative Crafts are an important part of our play at Little Pines. We aim to give the children as many different and varied opportunities to explore textures, colours and materials to build their creativity and imagination.
"Sensory Playtime"
"Sensory playtime encourages children to engage their senses and explore the world around them in a fun and interactive way."
"Exploring Nature"
Exploring nature allows us to appreciate the beauty and complexity of the natural world, while also fostering a sense of curiosity and connection to our environment.
